Winter Hike at the Winter River Trail

Join us on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. for a hike through the beautiful Winter River Trail.

Staff from the City of Charlottetown and Winter River - Tracadie Bay Watershed Association will lead you through the 5KM natural area maintained by Island Trails.

Hike off the winter blues, enjoy the sights and learn about the great conservation work that’s being done in the watershed. A limited number of snowshoes and ice cleats will be available for use. Hot chocolate and treats will also be provided!

Meet at the Winter River Hiking Trail parking lot – East Suffolk Extension. Be sure to bring appropriate winter clothes, boots or snowshoes, an insulated mug for hot chocolate, and anything else to help you enjoy the hike (trekking poles, binoculars for birdwatching, etc.)
